The 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is scheduled to be opened on October 15th and ended on November 4th, 2023 in Guangzhou. The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from Nov 5th to 10th, 2023. The Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines is committed to providing convenience to all visa applicants with official invitation letters for the Canton Fair and CIIE. Please be noted with the following guidelines:

    1.Visa Submission without Appointments:

    Applicants with official Canton Fair or CIIE invitation letters are welcome to submit visa applications without the need for an appointment. We are available to assist you every Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Counter 4 and 5 in the Visa hall. Basic requirements for VISA Application still need to be met. Website link:

    2.Expedited Processing:

    Applicants with official Canton Fair or CIIE invitation letters can avail themselves of RUSH/EXPEDITE processing, with visas ready for releasing on the next or the 3rd working day after submission of materials if needed. Please see rush/expedite fees posted in our official website.

    3.Foreign applicants:

    Foreign citizens in the Philippines do not need to apply for a visa in their country of nationality or place of habitual residence.
