In recent days, there has been such a confusing message circulating on some social media that "Per memo issued by the Chinese Embassy last Friday March 17, all Phillippine passport holders going to China starting April 11 are on hold even with existing valid China visas."

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China would hereby officially and solemnly declare that the aforesaid message is totally fake and null. Please do refrain from continuing to circulate it, which might generate more confusion among and inconvenience for the Philippine passport holders.
