On March 19, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations jointly held “Cultural Shaanxi ---- Charm of the Silk Road Legacy by the Chinese Cultural Courier @ the Philippines”in Manila.

Ambassador Jing Quan; Du Jingen, Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism; and Zhao Qiping, Chairman of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations, attended the event and delivered speeches. Nearly a thousand guests attended the event, including Philippine government officials, media representatives, and overseas Chinese.

Performers from Shaanxi presented wonderful performances, while a Philippine folk dance troupe showcased distinctive ethnic traditions through its dance.
