On May 6, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Jing Quan visited the Shaolin Cultural Center of the Philippines. He spoke highly of the achievements the center has made since its establishment more than a year ago and encouraged the center to make persistent efforts in its mission to serve as a promoter of people-to-people exchanges between China and the Philippines and a messenger for traditional Chinese culture.
