Ambassador Jing Quan and Embassy diplomats warmly interacted with the guests, guided them on a tour of the Embassy, and presented awards to the winners of the China-Philippines Pop Quiz 2026. Ambassador Jing noted that the foundation of China-Philippines relations has been built by the two peoples. He expressed the hope that the two peoples would strengthen exchanges and cooperation in trade, cultural and other fields, and jointly advance the sound and steady development of China-Philippines relations.

The Open House Day is the first such event the Embassy hosted for the general public in the Philippines. Guests enjoyed performances of traditional Chinese dance, guzheng music, and Shaolin Kung Fu, sampled authentic Chinese cuisine, received traditional Chinese medicine consultations, tried on traditional Chinese attire, and participated in hands-on cultural activities such as Chinese calligraphy, stone rubbing, and round fan decorating. Through these immersive experiences, guests gained a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture and a better understanding of China.
