On February 21, 2016, Foreign Minister Wang Yi sent a message of sympathy and condolences to Foreign Minister Inoke Kubuabola of Fiji over the grave property loss and casualties caused by the super cyclone. He also expressed that China is willing to provide disaster relief assistance to the Fijian government and people to the best of its capacity.
